Our History

We boast a unique heritage. Originally created by the British Crown, we can trace our roots back to 1749, and have provided banking services to emerging markets since 1833.

Crown Agents Bank is committed to facilitating trade and investment between emerging markets and the rest of the world.

Crown Agents Bank has recently been carved out from the international development organisation Crown Agents. Helios Investment Partners – utilising funds under their administration – has acquired Crown Agents Bank and Crown Agents Investment Management (CAIM). Now a fully independent financial institution, the Bank still maintains a close working relationship with Crown Agents to the benefit of its clients and partners.
