Kirsty Garrett is Global Head of Sales for Crown Agents Bank, which specialises in moving money to the places in the world where it is needed most. In her current role, Kirsty is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, including establishing the bank with new client segments and in new geographies. Her responsibilities also include building relationships with Crown Agent Bank's key clients, managing sales teams, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as setting product and client development strategies.
Prior to joining Crown Agents Bank, Kirsty was Regional Head of Investors Client Coverage, Europe at Standard Chartered Bank. In this role, she was responsible for all activities across both the banking book and financial markets with investor clients, including Sovereign Wealth Funds, Institutional Investors, Financial Sponsors, and Hedge Funds.
With over 20 years of experience in the financial markets industry, Kirsty is a Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income specialist, with considerable experience advising clients in Emerging Markets, and in the use of derivatives products.
Kirsty has approximately seven years of experience in client coverage, encompassing the full suite of banking products, including M&A advisory, secured lending (trade finance, infrastructure, CRE, fund finance), unsecured lending (working capital facilities), structured deposits, financial markets products (FX, rates, credit, commodities, repo, and derivatives thereof), securities services, prime brokerage, and structured credit (origination and distribution).
Kirsty started her career in FX and Commodities Sales at JP Morgan and has also worked in Macro Sales at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Nomura.
She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of talent and encouraging Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I). Her work in this space includes significant experience as an industry leader in DE&I, co-chairing the Gender Equality Network at Standard Chartered Bank, and participating in numerous industry forums.
