Crown Agents Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Goodenough as Chief Executive Officer of CAB Europe. Michael will lead Crown Agents Bank’s European operations from Amsterdam, with a focus on scaling the business, deepening client relationships and driving commercial growth across the region.

Michael brings extensive experience in global payments and financial services, with senior commercial and leadership roles at LHV Bank, Worldline, Ingenico ePayments, Global Collect Servies B.V and MasterCard. Across these roles he led regional and global commercial teams and built international partner networks, supporting enterprise clients across Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

CAB Europe helps financial institutions, global corporations and development-focused organisations move money confidently across complex markets. From Amsterdam, Michael will focus on scaling the business and positioning CAB Europe as the specialist partner clients turn to for end-to-end cross-border payments, FX, liquidity and market access.

Neeraj Kapur, Group CEO of Crown Agents Bank, said: “Michael brings a wealth of experience in global payments and international client development, making him the ideal choice to lead our European business as we continue to deepen our client relationships across the continent. CAB Europe has ambitious growth plans, and Michael’s appointment will strengthen our ability to support international organisations in providing cross-border payment solutions that power opportunities across the Global South.”

Michael Goodenough, CEO of CAB Europe, commented: “Crown Agents Bank has a long-standing reputation for being enduring partners with specialist market knowledge and connecting clients to markets that others can’t. Clients are increasingly looking for specialist partners with deep local relationships, multiple payment routes and the ability to reduce complexity across cross-border flows. I am joining at an exciting time to build and scale our European business from Amsterdam and support those clients to scale and grow.”
